Bolander Helps Build History


Bolander was named by Construction Guide Magazine as one of the major contributing companies for building “The largest public-private partnership in social services and housing in Minnesota history”. Partnering with Watson-Forsberg, Bolander provided the demolition, foundations, earthwork, and utilities for both the Higher Ground and Dorothy Day Place projects in Downtown St. Paul, increasing the homeless shelter capacity from 26,200 sqft to nearly 282,000 sqft as well as increasing the overnight shelter and housing capacity from 250 residents to over 700 residents.
