Bolander was a proud contributor to the restoration of this iconic Minnesota structure built in 1905.  Highlights of Bolander work include the following:

  • Design and construction of extensive underpinning for unreinforced stone foundation
  • Excavation & Export of over 6,000 Cubic Yards of soil from within the basement of the Capitol; all work by hand or via electric equipment
  • Placed over 400 Cubic Yards of concrete for foundation underpinning
  • Import and Place 2,800 Tons of Class V gravel within the Capitol basement
  • Installation of 3 storm infiltration or retention systems on Capitol grounds
  • Over 1,000 LF of Storm Sewer Pipe
  • 9,000 Cubic Yards of excavation for roadway improvements
