VANDALIA RECYCLING FACILITY

Vandalia, affectionately known as “The Crusher”, is a pioneer of concrete recycling in the Twin Cities. For over 40 years we have saved concrete and other construction debris from sitting in landfills. Instead, we crush the debris into gravel and other buildable materials and contribute to a more circular economy. We welcome residential and commercial customers to turn your scrap into a usable material.

HOW TO ENTER

FAQ

Residential Customers

What do I do when I get to your facility?

Enter our site off Capp Rd. and Vandalia, proceed around the one-way road and meet us on the scale. There we will direct you where you can dispose of your debris.

Can I bring other construction debris such as tiling, stucco, roofing, sheetrock, etc.?

Unfortunately we do not accept these materials, please look at our materials guide before you come to the site.

Can I drop off vegetation, sod, branches, other organic materials?

Unfortunately we do not accept these materials, please look at our materials guide before coming to the site. Check your local county website for free or low-cost drop-off areas.

Commercial Customers

Do you test and certify your recycled Class 5,6,7 material?

Yes, all of our Class 5,6,7 recycled gravel is tested and certified. It can be used on project requiring that specification, and documentation is available if requested.

I need a lot of material, will you have everything that I need when I need it?

We continuously replenish our inventory, but a good rule of thumb is to alert us if you need 100 Tons or more.

Can we drop off mixed loads of concrete and asphalt?

Although we will accept a limited number of mixed loads, we prefer contractors to separate materials to ensure the quality of our Class 5,6,7 recycle, millings, and other products. Mixed loads will also incur a higher charge than clean loads of concrete or asphalt.
